OUR PROGRAM

Each Ascend class is designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re brand new or developing your skills. Sessions are split into two focused groups: Fundamentals and Core, allowing everyone to train with purpose while progressing at their own pace.

MUAY THAI CLASS (CORE)

Core training is centred around one of our monthly principles and is designed for students who are comfortable with the basics and want to develop their skills further. Sessions explore technique in more depth, including timing, combinations, defensive reactions, and application through pad work and controlled partner drills.

Core classes challenge students to refine technique, improve awareness, and apply skills with clarity and intent.

MUAY THAI CORE

Principle driven training

Muay Thai Core is designed for students who want to develop their skills beyond the basics and train with intent, structure, and purpose. Each month focuses on one key Muay Thai principle, allowing students to explore techniques in depth and understand how they connect within real training scenarios.

This section emphasises fluid movement, timing, and intelligent decision-making. Techniques are layered progressively, helping students build confidence, adaptability, and consistency in their training.

Core is ideal for those who are comfortable with the fundamentals and want to challenge themselves while continuing to sharpen technique.

Fundamentals

Building strong foundations

Fundamentals training is focused on developing the essential skills that everything in Muay Thai is built upon. This section prioritises correct movement, balance, and technique, ensuring students understand how and why techniques work rather than rushing ahead.

Sessions are coached step by step, allowing students to build confidence, coordination, and control at a steady pace. Fundamentals is ideal for beginners, returners, and experienced students who want to refine their basics and strengthen their overall game.

Strong fundamentals create better fighters, safer training, and long-term progress.

Fluid Progression

Our class structure is flexible and student-focused. Members are encouraged to move between Fundamentals and Core as needed. If you want to revisit the basics, Fundamentals is always open to you. If you’re feeling confident and ready to push further, you’re welcome in Core.

There are no rigid barriers. Progression is guided by confidence, understanding, and readiness, not pressure or ego.
